Huntsman and Sydenstricker
(aka Orange Hunt)

Note - this line maybe out of operation due to the new Park and Ride Lot at Sydenstricker.  See Sydenstricker Lot

Huntsman and Sydenstriker Slug Line Map

Location: Springfield, near the intersection of Huntsman Boulevard and Sydenstricker Road.


MapQuest provides a detailed map and driving directions to the Slug Line location.
Driving Directions 

Description: Occasionally called Orange Hunt because of the proximity to the Orange Hunt School. Operates near the bus stop just north of the intersection of Huntsman Boulevard and Sydenstricker Road.


Destinations:  Need a Sign to Carry When Slugging?

Best Hours: 5:30 - 7:00 a.m.—Very good
                  7:00 - 8:30 a.m.—Good

Drivers: Normally, drivers normally pick up slugs, heading north on Huntsman.

Parking: Limited. Park on the shoulder of Huntsman south of intersection or on Sydenstriker near school. Pay close attention to the No Parking signs!

Metro Station: None

Bus: Fairfax Connector.

Returning PM Slug Lines: Pentagon, 14th & NY, 14th & Constitution, L’Enfant Plaza.
