The Purpose of this website

When I arrived in the Washington DC area a number of years ago, getting information about slugging was not easy. Information was passed from one slug to the next as if it were some secret operation.  Thankfully, the many advantages of slugging have become mainstream and are finally getting the recognition it deserves.  

The purpose of this homepage is to provide useful and up-to-date information for both first time sluggers as well as the seasoned.  Because of the ever changing slugging environment, I cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of this information.  However I welcome, and certainly appreciate, any email on incorrect information or changes that are occurring. Thousands of slugs have sent emails to keep the information accurate and current. 

Slug-Lines.com is simply the forum to allow slugs and drivers to interact and share information. This site is a one man operation. That is, I do all the website design, programming, slugging research, moderate the message board, answer email's etc. The Forel Publishing Company, LLC is business name used to operate the website URL. 

Slug-lines.com is not a government website nor does it have a state or federal grant to fund its operation. Just as slugging originated over thirty years ago without the help of government, Slugs are in charge, not the government.
