I just heard that two new afternoon lines are opening at WNY, but the problem is that they are inside the Navy base. There is already a Horner Road line one block away from the Yard's main gate. It can't be replaced by a line that half of us don't have access to.
I'm all for adding the Stafford line. That was overdue. But the Horner Rd line is not long enough to support being split in two. There could be drivers waiting in one location while slugs wait in the other, with no way of knowing. It's poor planning and it will make the daily wait longer for everyone.
The Stafford line should be repositioned near the Horner Rd line, off base. |
