I have a new monster commute until I find something else. Commute is from semi-rural Spotsylvania to Fort Meade. Could I just take my slugs to the Pentagon, drop them off and then keep going? I know that VRE and MARC reverse commute options exist but I want to know strictly from a slugging point of view.
Yes, you could drop off slugs at the Pentagon and then keep on going to Fort Meade. Once you get on the "other side" of DC you should be in a reverse commuting pattern which might make it a little faster - at least on the other side.
Thanks for the thoughts...I forgot that I would be doing a reverse commute (probably until I got directly in the vicinity of Fort Meade) which I hear takes a while to get on to.
How far can I take slugs with new commute?
