Why are the Fredericksburg lines at Gordon Rd?

   I live off Rt 1 in Spotsylvania, and have been a proponent of slugging for years.  However, we drive up to Stafford to pick up our slugs because Gordon Rd is too far off the 95 to be useful (for us).

	Recently, I've started using public transportation for some of my commuting, and I'm trying to understand the rationale behind the Gordon Rd lot pickup.  Buses run from the Ukrop's lot or Rte 208, and it seems like they would be a more viable choice for slugging.

	I may try to be a slug in the near future, but it will probably be from either Rte 17 or Stafford.

	Were slug lines ever considered at the other lots in Fredericksburg?  If not, why not?  And if so, any idea why they failed?
