After recent news indicating that our reps in Richmond are almost completely ignoring us, I spent about an hour this afternoon trying to find a website listing campaign contributions for each member of the General Assembly. Finally found it. It does appear that the "Virginia Auto Dealers Association" is pretty active. Of course, as may be expected, the home builders are the biggest givers.

Profit margins on SUVs and trucks were high for years. The marketers looked around for what new gimmick to try to leverage the same profits. They found it in the hybrids. Too much $$ for too little car and too little return to the environment to boot.
