Many slugs near Rt. 234 drive past this commuter lot and head to Horner Road. Why? Their final destination is the Washington Navy Yard but in order to get their, they must slug to L'Enfant to catch the shuttle to WNY. With the tremendous growth in the area, we are trying to build the Navy Yard as a new destination from Rt. 234

Because Horner is a larger lot than Rt 234. You can find drivers or slugs there and there usually is no traffic between 234 to Prince William Parkway. People tend to drop slugs at Horner, then go back on I-95 Southbound. I find it easy to do that if I have to pick my husband up from Quantico, in the beginning, I picked up sluggers for Rt. 234 but i find it hard to find sluggers and it is hard to get to the lot due to the traffic on 234. It is much easier to drop off at the Horner lot - it has dedicated ramp from HOT and easy to get back to southbound after dropping off.
