I just moved to Springfield from Arlington. Before living in Arlington I lived in Woodbridge thus I am very acustomed to the slug lines. Though I am a true expert of the Woodbrdige lines I have no clue about the Sprinfield Lines. Are there people going from the Sydenstricker Commuter Lot to DC. I know that there are people going to Rolling Valley but that commuter lot is out of my way. Please let me know.

You can easily catch a ride at the Sydenstricker Commuter Lot to the Pentagon. There's just one line in the lot for all locations. You'll have to ask or negotiate with the driver about other locations like the various downtown spots, Crystal City, Navy Yard, Rosslyn, etc. There are a few drivers who hold up signs for their destination, especially the Navy Yard drivers. One recommendation -- since the Sydenstricker Lot is about 1/4 to 1/3 the size of the Rolling Valley Mall lot, get there early. It's usually full and starting to overflow by about 7:30 to 7:45.
