Are there any drivers that are looking for a rider to go to DC.
I take 980 -> West Falls -> DC Union Station every day between 6:30 and 7:00 AM.
I see couple of cars in the parking lot. Iam not sure if they are slugline cars waiting for riders or if they are some passenger cars dropping off someone. I don't see any signs with them. How do I find out ??
I don't want to knock on the wrong car.

I've seen the same thing several times as I come in, with cars sitting on the back row in the garage, and I've also wondered if they were waiting for carpoolers. It probably wouldn't hurt to knock and ask.

I've been wondering if the Herndon slug-line has died on the vine or something. Haven't seen much activity here lately. I now drive into D.C. (near Farragut North AND West), leaving Herndon around 6:30AM. If I was sure of being able to pick up a rider at P&R I could leave a bit later. If anyone's interested drop me a note.

Has anyone had any luck with starting (restarting?) the Herndon slugline to D.C. or Rosslyn? How is that slugline's operation now? Have there been any recent moves to help it flourish?

To Hokiemom, I will drop you a line via email. Doing the bus/metro is a pain. Twice this week being the novice, I drove into DC with several slugs.

Are there truly slugs using this line, and if so, what time? I'm an early bird, generally coming through between 0630-0700. I drive two days a week to the Farragut West area, and bus/Metro it the other three. It would be nice to slug into town, and I'd be happy to stop and pick folks up at H-M if I knew they were there.
