The following was posted on the old message board from a slug:

I was going to look back thru the messages to see what was said on here about the Arlington Police 'rousting' the Rosslyn line right before Thanksgiving (if memory serves). At the time they were chasing cars away, saying that this was an illegal slug line, that the area is a no-parking zone, and that it constituted hitchhiking, which they said is illegal. Now, these guys were polite about it and very kindly explained that the line of cars had backed onto Wilson on a previous day, resulting in a fender-bender, but nevertheless the one officer seemed to be of the attitude that the line should be shut down. (The other officer appeared content to allow things as long as traffic wasn't getting blocked.) Did anybody report looking into this?? - Eric.
