Has anyone else been inconvenienced as of late because VDOT in their infinite wisdom is allowing the HOT contractors to keep the HOV(?) lanes closed until 5am? Let you voice be heard fellow pre-dawn commuters. The very nice and polite VDOT 1-800 operator didn't even know there was construction going on in our area when I called this morning. They're all downstate in Richmond or somewhere and don't have a clue what's going on up here.

What are you going to do when they are HOT lanes and you have to pay for them. Taking the regular lanes at that hour shouldn't affect you that much.
