Hi! I live a couple blocks from the brand new Rollings Rd. commuter lot but there are no slugs and hardly any cars in the morning or afternoon! if you live near Ft. Belvoir or at Saratoga and you slug in the morning this place is wide open, so why aren't people using it? Is it it's new? So strange.

Great location ... especially for those living in the Saratoga, Lorton Station, Alban Road, Pohick Road, and South Run communities. Huge lot with more than 500 parking slots. Last week, I drove by it around noon and there were maybe a dozen cars in the lot.

It is also a great place to start a slug line or two -- but doesn't appear any commuters want to go to the effort to try to start any there yet. That could be because the last big efforts a few years ago to start new slug lines in the area at Springfield Mall (JC Penney lot), and at the Gambrill Rd and the Backlick Rd commuter lots, didn't work due to the lack of interest and participation by enough slugs and drivers.
Also, this new lot is a good place to park and catch express buses to the Pentagon or Springfield Metro Station, and the upcoming express bus to Tysons Corner (which is advertised to start in March).

I think this place will grow, but it is going to be a while before a line just pops up.
Location is ok-ish...but not perfect since to get to lanes you need to backtrack up to the parkway, or lug it up backlick.
