I frequently slug to 14th and Penn from the Rte 234 commuter lot, but always have to take the OmniRide bus back in the evening. I can never find drivers to pick up slugs heading southbound to Rte 234. I don't get this since presumably they have to get home in the evenings. Does anyone have any ideas about this or suggestions?

They moved the slug lines to 15, I think the 234 line is there as well. I had such a hard time driving over there, I made a coordinated rides with people who go to the 234 lot or montclair. Much easier. Where do you work?

I work at Vermont and L and walk over to 14th and G street, where the Borders book store use to be to slug home to 234. Now that Potomac Mills (PM) parking is limited, I'm no longer slugging back to PM trying to figure out how to start a slug line from 15th street. By the way just got a e:mail which I will be passing out on my way home today that as of Feb 28th the slug line will be moved from 15th street to New York Ave between 14th & 15th. The PRTC will now come down 15th street as well.

I was told on 2/28 that the slug lines on New York between 14th/15th are now for Horner, and Dale City etc. For the 234 lot I should go to 14th and F street, but I NEVER get picked up at 14th and F.

Apparently some people get picked up if they have a sign, but not
on a regular basis. It would be easy to start a slug line there since the Dale City/Lake Ridge buses no longer stop at 14th/F...or go down 14th at all!

14th and F is as good a place as any to bring together the 234 crowd in the afternoon. Slugs, tell your morning drivers that more and more slugs are looking for rides to the 234 lot from 14th and F in front of the old Borders bookstore. The bus line tends to form against the building and the slugs usually line up at the curb. Signs help! Maybe we can finally get a regular line going to 234 from downtown.
