For those who plan to slug (or drive with slugs) on Thursday: VDOT website shows Veterans Day is a holiday with no HOV restricted hours.

HOV restrictions are lifted in Hampton Roads and Northern Virginia on the following federal holidays during 2010:
Friday, January, 1 - New Year�s Day

Monday, May 31 - Memorial Day
Monday, July 5 - Independence Day (observed)
Monday, September 6 - Labor Day
Monday, October 11 - Columbus Day
