Hi, I'm new to the whole slug line. I wanted to know if there's a line that goes from Triangle/ Dale City/ Woodbridge up to Arlington/ Ballston Metro Area. The two hour commute in the morning is just to much ever day. If someone could get back to me and let me know what my best options would be, that would be great.

Thanks,
Danielle

Check out http://www.slug-lines.com/AM_Lines/dumfries_road.asp

An option would be: AM - slug to Pentagon and take metro from there, in the evening metro to Pentagon and slug from there. HTH[:)]

I work on the corner of N. Quincy/Wilson (about 1 block from the Ballston Mall/Metro). I meet a carpool at Horner Rd in the mornings and we share weeks of driving. There is room in the carpool if you're interested, we work 7:15/7:30 - 3:45/4:00. e-mail me and let me know if you'd like more details jcaramanica@hotmail.com

If you'd like to slug instead, from experience, we often take slugs to Rosslyn or the Pentagon. Personally, I would rather drop off at Rosslyn in the am and pick up at Pentagon in the pm. For going to Ballston, it's nice to metro to/from Rosslyn b/c you won't have to switch trains.
