There are no slug lines in Springfield on the east side of I-95.
But two options you can try are:

1. The two "Bob's" slug lines (for downtown DC destinations) are in the parking lot of the old Circuit City store across Old Keene Mill Road from the Springfield Plaza shopping center (It's near the overpass).

2. The Sydenstricker slug line (for the Pentagon, Rosslyn, and Crystal City destinations) is at the Sydenstricker commuter lot located next to the Methodist Church at the corner of the Fairfax County Parkway and Sydenstricker Road.

Really depends on where you are going, there is also the Daventry lot, Old Keene Mill and Hunter Village if you go to the pentegon.

[V] It's so sad that the previous efforts to start morning slug lines at Kingstowne and Springfield Mall have all resulted in failure.

It seems the failures were due to lack of participation, along with the failure to set up afternoon return slug lines from downtown DC or NoVa locations. [:(]
