Is this location ever used as a slug line? I just moved into the neighborhood and it would be really conveinent.

Attempts to start slug lines at the relatively new Gambrill P&R lot have failed. Not enough interest/participation -- which is odd since there was a very active slug line at the same location on the corner of Gambrill and Hooes (across from the Sunoco station) prior to the lot being built. The lot is used by bus riders and is a rendezvous location for several carpools. It's seldom more than 20% to 25% full, and has a total of more than 250 parking spaces.

There is a nearby smaller P&R lot with an active Pentagon/Rosslyn/Crystal City slug line about 1/4 mile away at the corner of Sydenstricker & Hooes Rds next to the Methodist church. Parking at the Sydenstricker lot reaches 100% full around 7:30 to 7:45 AM.

If anyone would like to try to pursue this further, I'm in. I live accross the street from that lot and will be going in to L'Enfant Plaza, so you've got one more.
