Is the ride back to Horner road from L'enfant pretty reliable, and what is it like at around 4:50 pm? Where is the line located?

Appears that Horner Rd is one of the 9 destinations served by the L'Enfant slug lines. [:)]

L'enfant to Horner in the afternoon is the slug line I most often rode this season. The line can very often get quite long and often the cars come every few minutes (sometimes with delays of 5, 10 minutes between) This of course is more the case towards the beginning and the end of the "slugging" window. The problem at this line is that often people at the front of the line do not ask the drivers to take 3 and the wait for everyone is considerably longer... Theres a thread on this topic right now that has some heated opinions... some name calling too. You might want to check it out.

The rides come quite regularly between 3:30 and 5:30. However, between 5 and 5:15 the line has been known to grow to 30 slugs. The cars begin to dry up after 5:30 and if there is a line of slugs then you are generally better off walking to 14th St or taking the metro to the Pentagon to catch the bus.
