Bay Area Rapid Transit. Who do you know that lives near San Francisco, Oakland or Concord, California?

BART is threatening to go on strike. If WMATA's experience is any guide, getting people to car pool for the duration of the shut down not only keeps traffic moving, it improves service.

Let them know about casual car pooling. CCP is what the left coasters call slugging. Your friends can be real heroes in this transportation crises by becoming passengers. Here's where they can find a ride.
