Hello

I'm going to start slugging in March. I have been debating a lot of doing this. I ride the VRE now..but it's too expensive. I have a couple of co-workers that slug..and say it's safe. I want to give it try..to see if I like it.

Just wanted to know what would be the closes lot to park. I live in Woodbridge----between Cardinal Drive & Minnieville. I work at L'Enfant Plaza.

Thanks for you help!

Slugging is very easy to get the hang of and quite safe. You'll love it once you try it, I was hesitant at first since it's such an "underground" activity and I didn't get much info, but once I did it I never looked back at public transport.

You can try Potomac Mills, Tackett's Mill, or Horner Rd. Expect overflow parking and long lines if you slug later in the mornings at Horner. Or ask the slugs in the evenings what lot works the best for them. I've noticed some slugs like to get to a metro station and just ride a few stops to L'Enfant rather than waiting for a direct ride.

Forget Horner Rd, use Potomac Mills!
