Morning Pentagon Drop Off Question

This is a question for you seasoned Morning Pentagon slugs (yummy),

Me and my wife have recently started commuting to work via HOV-3 in the morning (with our 14 month baby), and We've gotten lost trying to get to the Pentagon Slug drop off (I'm trying to show her so that she can pick up slugs in the morning when I work from home and back in the afternoon when I work late).

1. The exit we take is the Rt 27 towards rosslynn and end up in the north pentagon Parking lot. Is there a better exit from the HOV lanes that goes right into the Pentagon Parking lot/Pentagon Metro/Slugs pickup?

2. After dropping off at the pentagon, what is the best way to get to Route 1 South? The maps are outdated because of all the changes in the Pentagon area.
