How are slug lines/pickup times in the evening affected by halloween, if at all? Is there any chance of getting a ride or slugs past about 4, or are most folks already at home getting their kids ready for trick or treat?

Judging from the unusually higher number of cars waiting for slugs this morning and the fact it's a Friday, there will be quite a few people heading home earlier than usual tonite. There are still a lot of people that don't have kids to take trick or treating so not everyone in DC/NOVA is going to be heading home before 3pm tonite. I expect it will be a great night to be a slug, especially at 4.

Last year traffic was fine. Though, I took the Martz bus home and was stuck with a few dozen angry parents as our driver was new to the route, got lost trying to find the HOV entrance from the Pentagon. He then decided the best thing to do was drive BACK to DC, and retrace his steps, instead of asking any of the passengers for directions. It was a miserable ride.
