I dont know where you are going, but to my knowledge people from Crystal City slug back home from the Pentagon.

There is a very active afternoon slugline in Crystal City where Crystal Drive turns into 12th St. Check the link for afternoon lines to get the map and full details. I started slugging in front of Gateway North in Dec 99 and others soon followed. It became such a well used site that the Arlington police made us move down the street to the corner. It sure beats fighting the Pentagon traffic whether you are a slug or a driver.

I have heard about attempts to get a line going at Crystal Park 2, but have not heard whether that has been successful or not.

The Crystal City line is primarily for those that are heading for Rt. 610 in Stafford, Horner Road, Tackets Mill, Potomac Mills and occasionally Rt. 234 (Montclair). If you are heading towards points south of 610 or North of Horner Road, your best bet is the Pentagon.

While I usually slug from the Pentagon, I've caught rides from the Crystal Gateway line (http://www.slug-lines.com/PM_lines/Crystal_Gateway.asp) when I've had late meetings in CRystal City.
