It will be hard to slug to Sprinfield because this is not a destination for any of the slug lines.
Now, what some people do, is slug all the way into DC and then turn around and drive south. They still save time because there isn't any traffic heading south on I95 in the morning. |

If you drive, you might consider taking slugs to the Springfield Metro Station. There just might be a couple of slugs in your line who get Metro subsidies from their employers and wouldn't mind going there.
Pull up to the morning slug line and ask if anyone wants to go to the Springfield Metro station. It might work. [:I] |
