I live in Fredericksburg and have been driving up to Horner to pick up a ride; however, I'm thinking about driving to the 610 lot instead (probably the new lot on Mine Road). Can anyone please help me with 2 questions regarding the trip back from DC?

1) I would be returning from the 14th & G lot. Do the drivers specify which lot they're going to, or would I have to request to be dropped off at the new lot?

2) I noticed that 14th & NY is listed as a PM line for 610, but on the 14th & NY page, it doesn't list 610 as a destination. Which one is right? (I'm thinking of my boyfriend, who rides in with me...14th & G is too far for him)

In answer to your first question, the only place that I know of that has two different lines for the old 610 lot and Mine Road is the Pentagon. If you are slugging out of DC, you should have a sign that says "Route 610 -- Mine Road Lot" or at the very least you should always ask before you get in because I've heard of instances where people end up having to go to the wrong lot because they didn't speak up. And believe me, that walk is a pain in the rear!![;)]

This line goes to 610 and Rt17 in Federicksburg.


Location: Washington, near the intersection of 14th and G Street.

This line is scheduled to start 3 Feb 03!
