I am looking to start slugging from Rt.610( Garrisonville Rd) to Penatgon city, arrive at work at 7 am anf to depart about 5 pm.

Just get in line aroung 6am and take a Crystal City ride. Ask the driver to let you off at Army Navy Drive which is just off the HOV exit (on Eads St). It's a couple short blocks to walk from Eads St to the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City. In the afternoon you can catch a ride home from the Pentagon. Just go to Fern St, walk towards the Pentagon and go under I395 to the 610 line. Average commute time is 40-45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions of course.
