Thank you so very much for looking out for us slugs and for posting your message today on the website. The slug system is great and helps save energy, time and traffic and benefits all users as well as non-users. Your help with the Bob's pick up point is greatly appreciated. Yes, it's true Bob's will reopen on Friday. I just received this from the Fairfax County Department of Transportation
"FYI, FCDOT has learned that the Circuit City site used by sluggers in Springfield was temporarily closed for routine paving/resurfacing. The Circuit City owner was not aware slug lines were using his lot. He says the paving is done except for drying, which is difficult because of the hot temperatures. He says the lot will definitely be re-opened by Friday." |
