Help! I have a terrible commute. Is there an active slug line in or near Manassas. I'm there between 7:00am and 8:00am. Thanks.

Unfortunately no. Because route 66 does not have "protected" HOV lanes like I95, slugging on the route 66 corridor has not been as successful. The only types of commuting that I've heard about is actual "coordinated rides" with co-workers who can then jump legally into the HOV lanes on 66 and into DC.
(One of the main reasons I told my husband that we'd NEVER live near 66 and always near I95 because I slug into DC everyday and love not having to drive or park downtown.) |
