Good Afternoon:

We wanted to inform all that we now have a new email address for being added to one of the 3 distribution lists. Please contact the managers of the list at:

whs.mc-alex.eitsd.list.sluggers@mail.mil - We have found that we are able to add most individuals to the list because they are available in the mail.mil GAL

If you are using a .com we are unable to add you to our disto lists but you can email the lists for rides/riders, you just won't be able to receive the messages unless we add you. Please find more info below.

Here is how it works:

Let's treat the e-mail list like a virtual slug line:

- Riders ("Slugs") are assumed to be waiting in line and therefore DO NOT
e-mail everyone asking for rides (that's a given).

- Drivers ("Scrapers") pull up and ask for riders virtually via an e-mail
to the list (the unknown variable each day).

- Slugs get the rides from the Scraper on a first come, first served basis

- No response or a negative response from the driver means you do not get a
ride and you therefore are "still in line"

Additionally, here is what I recommend to make sure your mailbox is clutter
free.

Create a Folder within your Personal Folders or as a sub directory of your
Inbox called Slugs (Right click, New Folder)

Then from your Microsoft Outlook tool bar Select Tools, Rules and Alerts.

Select New Rule, Select "Move messages sent to a distribution list to a
folder", Click on the "people or distribution list" blue text in the bottom
section of the window and select the WHS MC-ALEX HRD List Sluggers......................list. - If
our list is not in your Global Address Book, save it into your Contacts and
then find it there to complete this step.
