Hello fellow Slugs!

I'm new to the Stafford area, and am seriously considering being a slug back/forth to the Pentagon every morning but have no idea of where to begin. Can anyone provide a little guidance. I live off of Rt 1, and I believe I've seen the commuter lot near the Marketplace.

Thanks All for any advice!

MskDubb,
Welcome to sluggin'!
Check these two links for some Stafford slug line info: [:)]

Someone who uses these lines regularly (I don't live in Stafford) will probably respond with some additional details and lessons-learned about using the morning slug lines in Stafford.

There are two Stafford lots, the "old" 610 lot behind McDonald's next to Lowe's and the other off of Mine Rd near WalMart. Both have Pentagon destinations. I use the old lot and there is usually parking available until 7:30. Everyone stands in one line and the drivers will call out for either Pentagon, Rosslyn, Crystal City and occassionally Navy Annex. The next person in line for the called destination gets in the car. So even though the line may be long, you may get a ride fairly quickly.

I haven't used the Mine Rd lot as it seems to fill up quickly. At night there are sluglines next to the motorcycle parking in South Parking. Just make sure you stand in the correct "610" line indicated by the blue signs.
