DC .... || 4 – Yes || 1 – No .... || 0 – No Show
MD .... || 9 – Yes || 2 – No .... || 5 – No Show VA .... || 11 – Yes || 1 – No .... || 2 – No Show Federal || 4 – Yes || 1 – Abstain || 2 – No Show but (according to the links below) that would mean that VDOT voted twice ... http://www.mwcog.org/committee/committee/members.asp?COMMITTEE_ID=15 vs. http://www.mwcog.org/uploads/committee-documents/sVdYVlk20070614164007.pdf Why is all of the transportation stuff tied TOGETHER? Why is Bowie, MD voting on the I-95 transportation for teh Commonwealth of Virginia? Why are they trying to move cars instead of moving people? What about mono-rail vs. Metro-rail? VDOT owns the right-if-way. It sounds so simple when you "just put a stick in the ground and put power to it." Well, it really is almost that simple, isn't it? |
