I don't believe online petitions will carry a lot of weight when forwarded to an official.
How easy is it for me to go out to Yahoo or Hotmail or Google to create 20-30 random email boxes and start signing under false names? What we need to do is write letters to our state House of Delegates in Richmond, local government officials in Prince William and Fairfax Counties, and VDOT. We need to call them and show up at their offices in massive numbers. They need to see WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE WANT, and that we are REAL PEOPLE with REAL VOTES who pay REAL TAXES... And that THEIR DAYS ON THE JOB ARE NUMBERED if we get pissed off. |
