Does anyone know if the HOV Lanes are still restricted during the government shutdown? Will there still be slugging? DO I need to find an alternate way to get to work? Not sure what to do this morning.

I called VDOT and they don't have any current plans to change the restrictions, so I guess slugging is still on! They said to check their website, in case things change. I only checked the VA side.

I don't see any new information on the VDOT website.

I work in Rosslyn, and I usually catch a rider to Horner after 5pm, so I hope that there are some cars there today.

I slugged in just fine today. Much more drivers than passengers.

Will there be drivers picking up slugs around 2pm today at 14th & Commerce due to the shutdown??

HELP! I want to make sure I get a ride home! I am slugging to the Hechinger lot! Thanks!!!

cmurray0, I also slugged in fine this morning. But my concern is about the ride home. If drivers will leave early, then sluggers may not get a ride after 5pm.
