Cars Ticketed in 234 Lot

PW County Police issued a lot of tickets to cars parked along the curbs at the 234 lot on Tuesday. However, they did not ticket all the cars parked on the grass,on the sidewalks and some cars that parked in areas that have lines across them. They did not ticket all the cars parked along the curb / lanes that had the double yellow lines and there was only a foot of space left on that side. My ticket was give for "Obstructing Traffic" when clearly there was more than enough space to travel through the lanes. There are also no signs saying you cannot park there. It is also not marked as a "Fire Lane". I am urging all of you to protest these tickets.
I saw PW County rolling in the lot this morning around 8:10 while I was waiting to pick up slugs.

I do both. On this particular day, there were a lot of cars waiting for riders so I parked along a curb wwhere there were two other cars in front of me and slugged. These vehicles were ticketed also.

We all understand that this lot is over capacity now and I generally would have not parked there if it said no parking/marked a fire lane, etc. I definitely would not have pulled up onto the "sidewalks". I am not faulting anyone for parking where they do, I understand why its being done.

But people have been parking along these curbs since the lot opened and now all of sudden they start ticketing. The next day, I checked the cars parked along the curbs - no tickets...................
