Old Hechinger's Line at 15th & NY

Can anyone share with me their experiences with slugging from 15th Street & New York to Old Hechinger's?

I work in China Town (800 K St) and in the evenings, I walk to Commerce to get a ride home. I know their is a line at 15th and New York, but not sure how active it is. My current walk to Commerce is plesant during the warmer months, but with colder weather on the way, I'm looking for a shorter walk (though not much shorter?.

I pick up OH on New York at 15th. There is usually always a line of people.. I don't know how it is from the slugs perspective though.
