I'm new to the slugging experience and am a little confused about something: I would be coming home from Rosslyn in the afternoons, and I live close to the Daventry line. I see that the Kent street line in Rosslyn goes there, but I don't see a corresponding connection from the Daventry line to Rosslyn in the AM. Do drivers go from Daventry to Rosslyn in the AM? My concern is primarily how I would retriev my parked car/get home from the lot (i.e., what good is it having a destination line to Daventry in the PM if you have to leave your car at another lot in the AM?)

thanks for any help.

G-towner,
My experience is that most Rosslyn PM Kent Street slugs want to go down OKM Rd to Rolling Valley Mall. I've slugged from and picked up slugs there several times, and from my experience, most drivers for Rolling Valley Mall don't mind dropping slugs off at any of the OKM Rd slug line locations to include "Bob's", Daventry, Cardinal Forest Plaza (Rolling Rd), and RVM. Before you get in a car, just ask the driver if he/she wouldn't mind dropping you off at Daventry. They will probably let you out at the stop light near the Catholic Church and you can cross OKM Rd to where your car is parked. Good luck.

Keep on sluggin'! [:)]

Thanks, sluDgE.

I was actually wondering more about how to plan the AM ride; should I go to Daventry and try to catch a ride to Rosslyn there, or should I go to another OKM- area line to get to Rosslyn. In either case, I will have to return in the PM to the lot I came from that morning to retrieve my car. I just thought it seemed odd that people would want to drop/be dropped at a location on the PM ride that they couldn't leave from in the AM.

Thanks

G-towner,
What did you find works best to Rosslyn? I'm a driver that takes two to eh Pentagon then continue on my way to Rosslyn via 110. I would love to use a close Springfield to Rosslyn line. I live off Rolling and OKM.

Thanks

Actually, Barracuda, I haven't slugged in to Rosslyn yet. I'm still trying to piece together the best route combination, and I'm in no hurry right now. As for routes, 395 to 110 is probably what I would take, if that's what you were asking.

Bye the way, approx. how long is the trip from OKM to Rosslyn in the morning?

Thanks

G-towner - in case you're considering Bob's, be sure to ask around. I've never heard anyone in the 2.5 years that I've been going there call out for Roslyn.
