What is the approximate travel time from Rosslyn to Stafford 610 on an average day if hit the Rosslyn slug line around 4pm? Is there a 'prime time' to arrive at the Rosslyn to Stafford slug line in the PM? What's the traffic like on 610 when you arrive home?

Regarding your question about traffic on 610, where off of 610 are you moving? Traffic is pretty congested on 610 towards Garrisonville in the evenings. I moved to Aquia Harbour from Prince William County a couple of years ago, and I actually think that traffic on 610 is worse than the PW Parkway in the evenings.

Great thing about living in the Harbour is after you get out of the commuter lot in the evenings, which can take a while, you're going against the traffic. As far as 610 goes...the county keeps building more and more homes, without updating the roads. I think the traffic will only get worse once they put that new shopping center in right off of 95 near the 610 commuter lot.

P.S. Something else to look forward to when you move to Stafford...the traffic on 610 is even bad on the weekends :)

Hey 610...waddaya mean "without updating the roads"? They have just installed at least four new traffic lights on 610 to slow the traffic down even more, and there are more to come! :)

Patricia: you can count on about a 45 minute ride to the 610 lot on an average day...and about 2 and a half hours on the Friday of a holiday weekend ;)
