Avparr to give you an honest answer from a driver here, I personally wouldn't mind you getting into the car on crutches and with a cast, I think the biggest problem would be finding a car that you can get in comfortably.

As a driver, I would be happy to pick you up. Being on crutches is hard enough as it is, without having to worry if people will let you in their car!
When I broke my ankle a few years back, I was a metro rider. My first day going into work, I found that NO ONE would give up their seat for me. I ended up just working from home until I was rid of the crutches! I wish you luck! |

avparr,
I just recovered from a broken ankle. I never did ride with my crutches...too hard to guess at which car will pick you up...may not have enough room in the car...guess you could skip the small cars. But, I did see another guy with crutches and everyone worked with him. I'd say give it a shot until you get into a walking cast. |
