Tysons-Lake Ridge bus mix-up

   Many of us sluggers are also bus riders. I made a mistake this morning, trying to get on a Lake Ridge DC-bound bus. Got on the Tysons bus by error (a green-white bus parked where Lake Ridge buses park). Anyway, if you make this mistake too and need to get back to Metrorail to your job in DC or Arlington, here's how to undo the error (in case you don't already know it):

	* stay on the Tysons bus till it reaches the Westpark transit center

	* since it does not go into the center (!!), get off in front of it and cross the street (Jones Branch)

	* walk through the small transit center building and catch the 425 Fairfax County Connector

	* it immediately gets on the I-267 east and quickly takes you to the West Falls Church Metro Station

	As you probably know, the Tysons bus is usually silver/blue/orange. This one today was a green/white and parked where LR picks up (sigh). The damage done was about 35 extra minutes, but I got on the 425 right away. Don't know yet how often it runs.

	PS: By the way, the companion to the 425 is the 427. It also runs to West Falls Church Metro. I learned that later.
