Just received this from Michelle McQuigg's office:
Town Meetings Pre-Session In preparation for the 2007 session of the Virginia General Assembly, which will convene Wednesday, January 10, the Prince William Delegation (Senators Colgan, Chichester, Puller and O’Brien and Delegates Marshall, McQuigg, Lingamfelter, Frederick and Miller) will be hosting two town meetings. Citizens are encouraged to attend to express their opinions on issues and to offer ideas for legislation. The legislators hold this public meeting annually to solicit concerns from residents on issues affecting them as well as the Commonwealth of Virginia. Wednesday November 29, 7:30PM Prince William County Development Services Building, Room 202, 5 County Complex Court (new building next to McCoart). Monday December 4, 7:00PM Manassas City Hall, Council Chambers, 1 County Complex Court This is one of the few remaining chances we have to speak out to people who can actually DO something about the toll road plans. McQuigg and Frederick have both stated their opposition to toll roading I95... Time to storm the barricades, mes amis! |

Due to a prior committment, I couldn't attend. Would appreciate any feedback as to what happened. Did anyone out there attend?
Thanks in advance. |
