VDOT Incompetence Still Mind Boggling

   Re: the nightmare traffic in the regular lanes this morning (march 23).  I was watching the news and there was an accident on the right hand thru lane on 395 near Duke. For a half hour or more, the lane was blocked with a tow truck right there.  Then Jerry Edwards said that they were calling for a different type of tow truck. By the time I came in, it was a massive jam all the way to Dale City. Total incompetence. This was not even an injury accident.

	When I was job hunting for my second career 5 years ago, I inquired with VDOT about jobs. Pay was unbelievably low, around $30-32K for supervisory positions. Don't reckon they get many brain surgeons applying for that salary. You get what you pay for.
