I've gotten mixed answers as to whether or not there is slugging FROM this lot in the morning into downtown D.C. Some have said "yes" while others have said "only Martz busses." If there IS, in fact, slugging from Route 3 in the mornings, I am particularly interested in knowing if there is a fair number of DRIVERS from this lot between 6 and 6:30 AM going to 14th Street (preferably at least as far as New York Ave.)? Thank you in advance for your responses.

Dcn8ive, definitely slugging from the Rt-3 lot in F-burg. I normally depart there between 5:15 and 5:30, but I hear things pick about 6:00. As for going to 14th Street, I can't answer that part. I know the Pentagon, Crystal City, and Rosslyn have been serviced from there. But, who knows. It is a popular lot in my opinion. Happy Slugging! [:D]

In response to the question on the Rt 3 line--We've just started commuting from Fredericksburg and are definitely interested in picking up a slug from Rt. 3. We stopped this morning, but nobody had signs and only two people were at the curb, along with two cars. We didn't know what the deal was, so we just kept going. We usually pass the commuter lot at 6 am. If there are riders, please speak up!!
Thanks-- |

Quicktrip I'm an early riser and am part of the crowd that normally departs the lot between 5:15 & 5:30 [:0] There are days when the cars are not so abundant and I don't end up getting a ride until 5:45 or so [8)], but I still get a ride. From talking to some of my friends who arrive later than I do, around that time the cars are flowing and so are the slugs. It's rare that after a few minutes a slug doesn’t show up at Rt-3. Can anyone else add any further input?
