It's interesting to note that this recent 9 April 2007 news article is still saying:
"Vehicles with three passengers, buses and emergency vehicles could use the lanes for free." At one time I believed that, but after reading many posts on this message board I'm now a skeptic. Hopeful that it's true, but full of doubt. |

RLD, where been you? The recent articles in the Post seem to have revived you like an animal from winter hibernation.
Could... would.... Can't and won't is more likely, as you know. Even if it is free for carpools, when the lanes get full, will they keep others from accessing the lanes? My concern is not just with the cost, it is with simple accessibility. |
